The NoRo Center is a center of expertise and a resource center that offers social, therapeutic and medical services for patients with rare diseases in Romania. On June 28, 2021, the center celebrated 10 years since its opening in 2011.
The Romanian Prader Willi Association (RPWA) in partnership with Frambu Center for Rare Disorders Norway have collaborated in several projects funded by EEA and Norway grants to set up the center and develop its services. National and international partners supported this activity: Ministry of Health, Zalău City Hall, Sălaj County Council, Louis Țurcanu Children's Hospital Timisoara, University of Medicine and Pharmacy Timisoara, Romanian Medical Genetics Society, EURORDIS - Rare Diseases Europe, Prader Willi Association Norway, Kindness for Kids Germany, Ashoka Romania and many more.
